Instructions on how to properly log in and out of the webmail.

Logging in

  1. Open any browser.

    Zimbra Web Client is designed to work with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Macintosh Safari.
  2. Enter the following URL: http://mail.greatgulf.com
  3. Once the login screen appears, enter the user name and password provided to you by your administrator. NOTE: Your password displays as ****** on-screen, to protect your privacy.
  4. To be remembered on this computer, until the session expires or you log out, select Remember me check box. Your session will remain active until it expires (usually once you shut down your computer).

  5. Click . You should now find yourself logged in.

Logging out

To prevent others from logging in to your email account, you should always use the link to close your session. Once you have logged out, you can close the browser window.

Changing Password

The administrator assigns the initial password. To change your password, follow these steps:
  1. Click on the tab.
  2. In the Overview pane, click General and in Login Options section, click .
  3. Enter your old password, your new password, and retype your new password to confirm.
  4. Click . Your password has been changed.
