Purpose of this application is to update lot warranty information en masse.


11.18 Update Lot Warranty Information
Step Action
1. Open Update Lot Warranty Information application.

FORM FAQ
Project For which project do you want to update lot warranty information? You can either choose a specific project or run the update routine for all projects.
Lot ID To update warranty information for a specific lot, enter the lot ID or click on the link to find one. To run the update routine for more than 1 lot, enter the lot IDs, separated by commas, in the Add Lot ID to list input field.
Lot Status Search criteria can be narrowed down by lot status (e.g. open, closed).
Lots to Update Do you want to update all lots or only ones with a schedule?
2. You can search for a lot either by project, lot ID or lot status. Try to narrow down your search criteria, to reduce the time it takes to retrieve results.

Once you have made your selection, click .
3. A list of all lots is displayed.




Updating Each Lot Individually
Simply scroll down/up to the individual lot and update any of the fields (e.g. enroll fee, warranty budget). When you are done, click .

Enroll Number Enter warranty enrollment number here.
Enroll Date When did the homeowner get enrolled in the warranty program?
Enroll Fee Warranty enrollment fee can be entered here.
Legal Unit Number Enter the unit number.
Warranty Budget Enter the warranty budget for the total number of days listed in Warranty Period (Days) input field.
Warranty Period (Days) Enter the length of warranty coverage in days. NOTE: Default number is 365 days.
Construction Supervisor Select construction supervisor for the current lot.

NOTE: In order for supervisors to show up in the Construction Supervisor drop down list, they must be setup as 'Construction Managers' in Maintain Managers application. For details, see Maintain Managers section of System Maintenance training guide.
Finishing Super Select finishing supervisor for the current lot. Finishing supers can be set up or updated in Maintain Supers application. For details, see Maintain Supers section of Construction Scheduling training guide.
Decor Representative Select decor representative for the current lot. Decor representatives are assigned to lots via Maintain Lot Design Center Info application. For details, see Maintain Lot Design Center Info section of Decor/Design Center training guide.
Primary Warranty Rep Select a warranty representative for the current lot. Warranty reps can be set up or updated in Maintain Warranty Reps application. For details, see Maintain Warranty Reps section of Warranty training guide.
Service Technician Select service technician for the current lot.
Pre Pre Delivery Inspection Rep Select inspection representative for the current lot.
Pre Delivery Inspection Rep Select inspection representative for the current lot.
Home Warranty Notes Any additional comments can be entered here (e.g. homeowner wasn't happy with the plumbing in master bathroom).




Updating Lots En Masse
This is useful in cases when, for example, you forgot to enter warranty period for several lots that appear in a single project.
  1. You must first select all lots, by clicking on the link located at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Next, scroll down to the very bottom of the page and update any of the fields (e.g. enroll fee, warranty budget).
  3. To preview changes, click . NOTE: To apply all changes, you must click .
4. When you are done, click .
