Purpose of application is to set up home warranty information. For example, how long is the warranty for, when is the expiry date, etc.


11.8 Maintain Home Warranty Detail
Step Action
1. Open Maintain Home Warranty Detail application.
2. Select a project from the Select a project drop down list, enter a lot ID number in the Enter a lot ID input field (or click on the link to find one) and click .
3. Review/update Warranty Details, Warranty Program, Custom Fields and Survey(s) Entered sections of the form.

FORM FAQ
Warranty Details
Construction Supervisor Select construction supervisor for the current lot.
Finishing Super Select finishing supervisor for the current lot. Finishing supers can be set up or updated in Maintain Supers application. For details, see Maintain Supers section of Construction Scheduling training guide.
Decor Representative Select decor representative for the current lot. Decor representatives are assigned to lots via Maintain Lot Design Center Info application. For details, see Maintain Lot Design Center Info section of Decor/Design Center training guide.
Primary Warranty Rep Select a warranty representative for the current lot. Warranty reps can be set up or updated in Maintain Warranty Reps application. For details, see Maintain Warranty Reps section of Warranty training guide.
Service Technician Select service technician for the current lot.
Sales Agent Name Name of the sales agent responsible for the sale of the property is displayed here. This name is derived from Maintain Purchaser Agreements application and is the name of the user who initially created (not accepted or submitted) the offer. For details, see Maintain Purchaser Agreements section of Sales Office training guide.
Sales Comment Any additional comments related to the sale.
Warranty Budget Enter the warranty budget for the total number of days listed in Warranty Period (Days) input field.
Warranty Period (Days) Enter the length of warranty coverage in days. NOTE: Default number is 365 days.
Pending From & To If applicable, enter the pending time frame.

In cases when homeowners will be absent for a period of time and do not want any trades in their homes, pending from and to dates are set up. This puts all new deficiencies, entered between those dates, into pending status.
Pending Note Any additional comments related to the lifespan of warranty.
Homeowner Rating How happy was the homeowner? Select a rating.
Notes Any additional comments can be entered here (e.g. homeowner wasn't happy with the plumbing in master bathroom).
Warranty Program
Enrollment Date When did the homeowner get enrolled in the warranty program?
Enrollment Number Enter warranty enrollment number here.
Enrollment Fee Warranty enrollment fee can be entered here.
Custom Fields (Warranty)
Tarion 2 Year Followup date 2 years follow up, from the day of possession, by Tarion Warranty Corporation.
Tarion 2 Year Num Defs Number of deficiencies found after 2 years.
Tarion 2 Year Received Date 2 years follow up feedback is received.
Tarion 30 Days Followup date 30 days follow up, from the day of possession, by Tarion Warranty Corporation.
Tarion 30 Days Num Defs Number of deficiencies found after 30 days.
Tarion 30 Days Received Date 30 days follow up feedback is received.
Tarion 365 Days Followup date 365 days follow up, from the day of possession, by Tarion Warranty Corporation.
Tarion 365 Days Num Defs Number of deficiencies found after 365 days.
Tarion 365 Days Received Date 365 days follow up feedback is received.
Survey(s) Entered
