A complete overview of the Sales Office module and its applications.


Application Purpose
Change Offers Purpose of application is to reassign an existing, approved offer from one lot to another.
Do Deal Analysis and Review Purpose of application is to review and accept or reject offers submitted for processing. NOTE: This version of application is for GGH, only. All US divisions must utilize Do US Deal Analysis & Review application.

Estimate Work Sheet Purpose of application is create an offer estimate in order to see approximately how much will a house cost. To get a real feeling of the purchasing price, option upgrades can be added at this time.
Maintain Agent Commissions Purpose of application is to set up new commission for an agent or about the existing commission set up for a project (e.g. agent Andrew - 3.5% for project AS4).
Maintain Agent Project Access Purpose of application is to assign realtors to projects. One project can belong to one or more realtor, while one realtor can have one or more projects assigned to him/her.
Maintain Lawyers Purpose of application is to add new lawyers to the database, while existing ones can be viewed and updated. As well, lawyers can be assigned to specific divisions (e.g. Toronto, Houston).
Maintain Lot Closing Date Purpose of application is create/update projected and actual closing dates, along with reasons for changing these dates.
Maintain Lot Marketing Information Purpose of application is to check whether or not a specific lot is on sale, whether it's mandatory to purchase any options, as well as, any discounts and premiums available for the lot.
Maintain Mortgage Estimates Purpose of application is create or update mortgage estimates.
Maintain Project Marketing Info Purpose of application is to set up marketing information for a project. For example, you can create a project wide discount or premium for all lots within a project.
Maintain Purchaser Agreements Purpose of application is to create or update purchaser agreements.
Maintain Realtors Used to create new or update existing realtors.
Update Floorplan Discounts Purpose of application is to update floorplan discounts (e.g. discount amount, markup). Updates can be performed on each floor plan individually or en masse.
Update Lot Marketing Information Purpose of application is to update lot marketing information (e.g. lot discount, lot premium, released for sale). Updates can be performed on each lot individually or en masse.
Update Lots Legal Plan Name Purpose of application is to update lots' legal plan names en masse.
View Deposits Report Purpose of the report is to view deposits. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
View Floorplan Detail Purpose of the report is for the sales and head office staff to see in a quick summary view the selling prices of floorplans and other floorplan details by project.
View Future Closings Purpose of the report is to view future closings: offer, current and actual closings. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
View Lot Sales Information A report used to display the number of deals done on a lot, within a given time frame (e.g. no deals, dead deals, firm sales). You can narrow down your report output by project(s), lot(s), etc. The more specific you are, the quicker it will take to compile a report. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
View Offer Deposits Report A report that displays all projected or received offer deposits for one or more projects in a given time frame. For example, you can search for all deposits that have been received for project AS1 this year. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
View Offers A report used to view offers of different status type for specific projects, lots, etc. For example, you can run the report to see how many accepted offers we had in March 2009, in project AS4. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
View Preconstruction Options >A report used to view preconstruction options for a specific offer, project, lot, etc. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.

Preconstruction options are options that must be selected before the Design Center visit. An option can be set up as a preconstruction one in Maintain Options application. or details, see Maintain Options section of the Options training guide.
View Project Lots Sale Status A report that allows one to view the sale status for specific project or lot, along with the offer details, if any. NOTE: All lots that do not have an offer or have a dead offer are still available for sale.
View Spec Home Pricing When a division sites a spec home, it is necessary for the management team to assign a retail price to the home based on floorplan and option pricing. This report can be used to determine sales price of a spec home. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.
